Philip Siefer is co-founder and "Chief Executive Unicorn" of einhorn.

Philip was born in Hamburg in 1982 and studied media technology. In 2015, together with Waldemar Zeiler, he founded einhorn products GmbH, which sells vegan and sustainable condoms, period products and related articles. The start up became known through various TV shows (ZDF Kampf der Startups, die Höhle der Löwen, vom Spinner zum Gewinner...) and their own online series Condom CEO. The media hype was based in particular on einhorn's innovative marketing concepts, unconventionally new work practices and an emphasis on fair and sustainable entrepreneurship - or as the two would call it "Fairstainability" (fair & sustainable).

Thus einhorn promotes fair wages and biodiversity on the plantations in Malaysia from which they draw their natural rubber for condom production and is a member of the "Biodiversity in Good Company" network.

Philip and Waldemar also launched the Entrepreneur's Pledge, which commits experienced entrepreneurs to start a sustainable business. More than 90 entrepreneurs have already joined. einhorn itself invests 50% of its profits in social and sustainable projects.

In corporate culture, too, the two go new and unconventional ways. Employees of einhorn are now allowed to determine their salaries and holidays themselves. Read how it works in this interview (german).
