Anke Wagner is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Scientists into Business (SCiB) GmbH.
In 2017, Anke founded SCiB along with to other alumni from TU Dresden in a context of a start-up-competition at her university. Her scientific work sparked the idea of creating a high profile network focusing on connecting academic talents in Dresden with the local industry – thus, intap – the international talent project for Dresden was established shortly after.
intap links international talents with Dresden's industry through events, workshops and the network platform www.intap.network, which was specially developed for this purpose. In 2018 intap, supported by renowned project partners, drew attention to international top talents and their career paths in the Dresden business community with the visibility campaign "My talent is your success". In October 2019, intap launches another campaign under the motto „international talent wanted“ – where companies as well as (international) jobseekers and intap friends join forces to celebrate and visualize Dresden as a cosmopolitan, innovative and diverse hub.
Anke Wagner was born in 1982 in Dresden, Saxony. After graduating from high school, Anke studied politics and communication science at the Technical University of Dresden. The topic of her master's thesis was: "Clever minds from all over the world? Communicating the topic of qualified immigration in the Free State of Saxony". During her studies Anke spent a semester abroad at Boston University, worked for various public relations agencies and in the field of political communication. Since 2009, she is committed as City Councellor of Dresden and spokeswoman for sports policy. Currently, Anke is a PhD-Student at TU Dresden, researching on public qualified immigration.
